Having just happened on Saturday, the 14th of November 2015, the Paris attacks resulted in approximately 128 people killed in France. The French were watching a soccer match (between France and Germany) when some terrorists stepped in, and they shot randomly at people without prior notice. They then went around Paris, attacking many different places and a massacre at a concert hall was reported to have the highest number of casualties (at least 80 people killed).
Many predictions have been made, and according to ‘The Telegraph,’ the attackers were holding Syrian, Egyptian, and French passports. In addition, they say that one of the French who participated in the massacre was already known to the authorities as a ‘Fiche S,’ which is a watchlist of the security services. Meanwhile, CNN released an article claiming ISIS responsible for the gunfire in Paris. The Paris police had tested for fingerprints and some were proved to be in the ISIS.
“People yelled, screamed,” was what Julien Pearce, a radio reporter, said. “It [the attack] lasted for 10 minutes. Ten horrific minutes where everybody was on the floor covering their head.” This comment from an actual witness reveals how deadly the attack was.
A Facebook post from one of the people who was actually in the attack is also gathering attention, as he had posted in his timeline that the attackers were heading towards the 3rd floor, and that everyone somehow had to escape to the 1st floor, which was relatively safe.
